ESDGC stands for Edcuation for Sustainablility and the Development of Global Citizenship

The Eco council who are chosen from each class from years 3 – 6 are responsible for ensuring that the school is as Ecological as possible.

We have obtained the Green Flag award which was the result of hard work from the ECO council and ECO. It really is an achievement

Eco council have now obtained bins for both parts of the playground and they are used daily by all the children and maintained by the ECO Council.

Eco Club runs weekly and has 16 members who work on  activities such as making posters for events, playing games and most importantly collecting the data for the weekly SCRAP PAPER CHALLENGE, a popular addition to the weekly achievement assembly where class are rewarded for having the least scrap paper in their recycling bins.

ECO Council  are now working towards this years switch off fortnight which takes places at the end of November.
