Rugby Club

We have all been very excited about the Crusaders Rugby league team being based in Wrexham.

The school has been visited by members of the Crusaders coaching squad.Class 9R had a coaching session with Matt Pritchard from the Crusaders which everyone enjoyed.

Matt Pritchard spoke to the whole of Key Stage 2in a special assembly and brought in the Challenge Cup Trophy for the children to see.

The school rugby team took part in a Rugby league tournament at Glyndwr University and did very well.They then met some of the Crusaders players.As a special treat, the team were given free tickets for the Crusaders v. Leeds Rhinos game and were paraded on the pitch at half time!!!!

The Rugby tag team has also been involved in an ongoing rugby union tournament and have put in some impressive performances.
