Mrs Jones & Mrs Bayley Class 5

Welcome to Class 5 - we are a mixed Year 1 and 2 class of 23 children, we have 15 girls and 8 boys.

Everyone has settled in well and are learning lots of new things. 

Mrs Jones is class 5's teacher on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings. Mrs Bayley is the teacher on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays and Fridays.

Our PE days are Mondays and Fridays - please remember to bring PE kits in at the begining of the term, they can stay in school and are returned at the end of each half term. Also, if any children wear earings can they be removed on the days we have PE, this will prevent any possible injurys which may occur during our very active sessions.

Our topic for the Autumn term is  'The World of Our Senses', where we will be finding out how our five senses work. Please see the World of Our Senses page for more information on the work we are doing in class.

Our topic for the Spring term is  'The Circus', where we will be finding out all about the Circus. Please see the Circus page for more information on the work we are doing in class.

For the Summer term we will be covering different topics. During the first half term we will be looking at Healthy eating, the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic and the Queen's Jubilee.

During the second half term we will be covering the topic of the Olympics which fits in well with the upcoming Olympics in London this summer.
