Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre | Help Keep Our School Pupils Safe Online

The internet is a fantastic source of information for our pupils and Hafod-Y-Wern encorporates this into ITC lessons. Whilst access to the internet on school premises is carefully governed; we wanted to encorporate the Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) button into the school website, so that no matter where your children are accessing the internet, they know where they can get help and advice on anything that concerns them online.

Clicking on the button, found underneath the left hand navigation of every page, will open up a new web page. On this page parents, pupils and teachers can find information on how best to deal with anything from Viruses to Harmful content.

Whilst Hafod-Y-Wern supports this National Initiatve we will always encourage parents and their pupils to discuss these concerns together and if you feel that further steps can be taken, please speak with a member of staff.
